Innovation is the engine for humanity forward. In 2021, U8 World Innovation Summit (U8-WIS) was founded by students from 8 top universities around the world, including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Caltech, Tsinghua and PKU.

With a mission to explore the cutting edge of innovation, the Summit aims to establish a trans-national and multi-disciplinary platform to engage leading scientists, humanists, entrepreneurs and professionals around the globe in a discourse that offers insights and generates ideas for the future of humanity.

2021 Conference

2020 has brought new social, economic, and political realities, and showed us a more connected global community that we realized and a more sustainable future that we are aspiring for.

The first U8 World Innovation Summit Annual Conference New Decade – New Challenge – New Alliance was held virtually on May 22-23, 2021. The conference aims to engage leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and investors with passionate young students through a series of intellectually intensive events, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive seminars.

The U8 World Innovation Summit · 2021 Annual Summit, themed "A New Era: Challenges · Opportunities · Win-Win," was held from September 24th to 26th, at the Beijing International Hotel. We will be inviting dozens of global leaders from various fields to engage in in-depth discussions on forward-looking topics concerning human development and technological innovation. Through keynote speeches, dialogues, roundtable discussions, and more, we aim to spark innovation and strength, sharing passion and hope with aspiring and courageous young scholars who are eager to explore. Join us as we embrace the future, filled with challenges, opportunities, and the potential for shared success.
